PM Modi and Spain's Pedro Sanchez inaugurated TATA Aircraft Complex in Gujarat

As per report prime minister Narendra Modi and Spanish prime minister Pedro Sanchez held a roadshow in Gujarat’s vadodara on Monday, as they travelled in an open jeep and greeted people standing on both sides of the route. Both the Prime Ministers waved at the crowd gathered along the 2.5-km stretch of the route from the airport to the Tata aircraft complex in the city. Modi and Sanchez were greeted with performances by various artists showcasing India’s rich culture as they proceeded towards the Tata Advanced Systems facility.

Perhaps the two leaders also jointly inaugurated the TATA Aircraft Complex for manufacturing C-295 aircraft in vadodara, the first private sector final assembly line for military aircraft in India. After inaugurating the aircraft complex, Modi and Sanchez will visit the iconic Laxmi Vilas Palace, the residence of the erstwhile Baroda royal family, where they will hold a bilateral meeting over lunch, officials told PM Modi said, “This is my friend Pedro Sanchez’s first visit to India. From today, we are giving a new direction to india and Spain’s partnership. We are inaugurating the production factory of C-295 aircraft. This factory will strengthen India-Spain relations as well as the ‘Make in india, Make for the World’ mission.”

Moreover he added “This C-295 aircraft factory reflects the new work culture of New India. When I was the gujarat Chief Minister, it was decided to set up a factory in vadodara to build train coaches. The factory was also prepared for production within a record time. Today, we are exporting the metro coaches manufactured in that factory to other countries. I am confident that in the future, the aircraft made in this factory will also be exported to other countries”.
