Sharad Pawar's big statement amid tussle over seat sharing
There are still differences on some seats between the constituents of the maha Vikas Aghadi regarding the assembly elections in Maharashtra. ncp (SP) chief sharad pawar has made it clear that about 95 percent of the 288 seats have been decided by mutual consent. He said that for the benefit of the people, we want to change the government in the state. Speaking to the media in Baramati, ncp (SP) president sharad pawar said, "I am regularly reviewing all the districts of Maharashtra. During the lok sabha elections, the people of maharashtra gave us a tremendous response. They gave us 31 out of 48 seats. I am very grateful to them. Now the process of assembly elections has started."

He further said, "MVA is contesting all the seats in Maharashtra. About 95 percent of the 288 seats have been decided by consensus. Discussions are also going on for the rest of the seats. We want to change the government in maharashtra, a lot of issues of the people of maharashtra are pending because they have not been resolved by those who are currently in power. I want to assure the people of maharashtra that the MVA will bring a government in the interest of the people.''
The sharad pawar faction's ncp in maharashtra on sunday announced 9 candidates in the third list for the assembly elections. Earlier on saturday (October 26), the second list of 22 candidates was released, in which party MLA sandeep Kshirsagar was fielded from Beed. Sunita Charoskar has been fielded from Dindori in Nashik district against assembly Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal, who has been fielded by the Ajit Pawar-led NCP. Sharad Pawar's party has so far announced 76 candidates. The deadline for filing nomination papers for the assembly elections in maharashtra is ending on october 29. elections will be held on november 20 on all 288 seats in the state. The counting of votes will take place on november 23.
