Not only people but also birds and animals are suffering from air pollution. Moreover, the colors of houses and vehicles are also changing due to air pollution. Due to this, people suffer from chronic diseases like asthma. There is propaganda that due to some substances due to air pollution, it is also affecting the eyes. We keep seeing redness and dryness of the eyes due to dust falling in the eyes. The eyes also have problems with air pollution.
On the other hand, some surveys show that there is a danger to the nervous system due to the increase in the levels of nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide in the air. In its report, 'The Lancet Planetary health Journal' revealed that 5 percent of the deaths that occur here every year are due to air pollution. 'The Lancet Planetary health Journal' has studied how many deaths are caused due to air pollution in ten cities in the country. It studied 36 lakh deaths between 2008 and 2019. It has been revealed that 1567 people die every year. The pollution during diwali is more extreme as compared to normal days. According to PCB statistics, the PM 2.5 level during normal time is 35-55 micrograms per cubic meter of air, but it increases to 55-105 micrograms during Diwali. Noise pollution is also increasing at the same rate. In such situations, environmental protection measures must be taken, say NGOs.
