Audience Poll - 90 Mintues Vs 180 Minutes ?

G GOWTHAM
According to a recent poll, the majority of consumers want their movies to last around ninety-two minutes. Just 2% of respondents enjoyed movies longer than 150 minutes, and only 15% stated they would watch films longer than 120 minutes. This is unexpected considering a lot of today's highest-grossing movies are considerably longer.
As an example, a number of the highest-grossing movies ever had durations longer than two hours; examples of them are Animal, kalki 2898 AD, RRR, Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, and Devara. However, the majority of films that ended up becoming blockbusters, like Animal or kalki 2898 AD, had problems because of their lengthy running periods, with a few outliers like Rajamouli's works.

Because longer films might grow tiresome, audiences often favor movies with runtimes around 150 minutes. A movie that can entertain a large audience in 150 minutes is far superior to one that is over three hours long and only entertains in little doses. The running time of a movie is the length of the film, usually expressed in minutes. The average running time of a movie is 90–100 minutes. However, the length of a movie can vary depending on the time and place.
