Is the counting of votes still with ballot papers in America?
America is not such a country. The world is big. It looks a bit interesting when we see the process related to the presidential election in that country which has gained fame as a superpower. The reason for this is that in America, where technology is a carafe address, it is seen that polling is done with ballot papers instead of using EVMs for presidential elections. Another interesting thing is that the voting system in America is not done in the same way. For each state, the method of that state is like that. It is known that the same system is implemented in our country. Polling is done in EVM machines all over the country. But... in America, voting is different in each state.
Voting will be done in 3 methods. The first method is paper voting. In that, they tick against the candidates they like on the ballot paper. The majority of the states in America follow the same policy. Almost 70 percent of people across America are seen voting in this way. The second method is the method of conducting ballots with marking devices. In this, they vote with marking devices. It has options like braille and audio assistance.
A voter can vote for the candidate of his choice through the touch screen. As soon as you vote, the ballot will be printed. It comes out in paper form. Put it in a box. This system is implemented for disabled people. The third approach is closer to our EVMs. These are called direct recording electronic systems. Interestingly, these machines are not the same everywhere in America. Each place is different. Some places have VV pats. In this election, voting is being done entirely in the state of Louisiana. Like this.. different from the system followed in our country, voting is done in three ways in America.
