Pooja Hegde All Set for Marriage and Fixes Her Honeymoon Spot
What Does Travel Mean to You?
Everywhere I go, I leave a piece of myself behind, yet traveling is like finding a piece of my soul in new locations. I've learned about many cultures and individuals, and I've come to appreciate how big the globe is. Traveling has helped me mature a lot.
What Does Your Dream Destination Wedding Look Like?
It will have to deal with the natural world. Because I'm from Mangalore, it would also appear quite South Indian. Therefore, one of the items would undoubtedly be wearing a Kanjeevaram sari!
What is your idea of the modern indian bride?
I consider myself to be a modern indian bride because, despite my modern outlook on life, I have a strong affinity for customs. Given that weddings are becoming more laid-back affairs, I believe that the modern indian bride is evolving.
Is there a stereotype you would like to break, especially in terms of the indian bride?
Under lehengas, high heels! To dance the night away, I could consider donning shoes underneath my lehenga. Additionally, shoes might be comfortable if someone has to sprint quickly!
An intimate gathering or a big, fat indian wedding: what would you pick and why?
A little party, but since I have a large family, I can't resist having a huge, massive indian wedding. I want everyone to spend time together at a single, large gathering. Which travel memory is your favorite? We visited AlUla [in Saudi Arabia] for my most recent Travel + Leisure india & South Asia cover [shoot], and I thought it was stunning. It's among the most exquisite covers I've ever taken. Both the trip to Salzburg, Austria, and christmas in New York were wonderful experiences. It was the spirit that made Bali beautiful. I also spent a lot of time in Turin because I was in italy for a month filming a movie. We went to a place called Barolo, which was beautiful, too.
Kashmir, Paris, Bali, and Japan.
