According to insiders close to the production, actor pooja hegde has been cast to co-star with actor varun dhawan in director David Dhawan's upcoming project, CNBC-TV18 said. It was once rumored that the movie would mark South actress Sreeleela's bollywood debut. With recent appearances in films like "Guntur Kaaram" and "Bhagavanth Kesari," she has primarily worked in telugu and Kannada.
Hegde and varun dhawan will work together for the first time in a major role in the next movie. After the release of "Main Tera Hero" (2014), "Judwaa 2" (2017), and "Coolie No. 1" (2020), the father-son team of varun and david dhawan return with the untitled project. "I have a bunch of announcements coming," Hedge told The Times of india in response to a question about the project. I just let the producing company make the announcement.
Fans will see her play a variety of roles in future productions, Hegde said. "This year, I decided to take a step back, watch my entire filmography, and decide what I want to do next," she stated. Earlier, Hegde starred in hindi movies such as "Mohenjo Daro," "Housefull 4," "Radhe Shyam," "Cirkus," and "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan." According to a number of sources, Mrunal Thakur would be a part of the next project.
'Citadel: Honey Bunny' is a spy action thriller series that varun is currently loving. 'Citadel', the original Russo Brothers sitcom, which starred richard Madden and priyanka Chopra, has a spinoff in Hindi.
