The killers had a 'Plan B' ready to kill Baba Siddiqui

In the baba Siddiqui murder case, mumbai Crime Branch arrested Gaurav Vilas Appune from Pune. Gaurav told during interrogation that Plan B was also prepared for backup, it would have been used if Plan A was not successful. Gaurav Vilas Appune, who was involved as a shooter in the Plan B made by the Bishnoi gang to kill baba Siddiqui, had gone to jharkhand to practice firing. Along with him, Rupesh Mohol, an accused already arrested in this case, also went to jharkhand and both of them practiced firing several rounds there. Both these accused were sent to jharkhand by mastermind Shubham Lonkar for practice and he also provided weapons for the practice. However, Crime Branch officials are still trying to locate the place in jharkhand where the practice was done.

Had informed the family about going to Ujjain

According to mumbai Crime Branch, Gaurav Appune and Rupesh Mohol went to jharkhand on July 28, 2024. Where they practiced firing for a day. Returned to pune on July 29 and remained in touch with Shubham Lonkar. A Crime Branch official revealed that before going to jharkhand, Appune told his family that he was going to ujjain with friends for a picnic so that they would not know about his involvement in the murder conspiracy and the plan to practice shooting.

This big offer was given to those who gave the contract

Another shocking revelation has come to light in the investigation of the Crime Branch. The investigation found that on the orders of the Bishnoi gang, Shubham Lonkar had promised four big rewards to the four arrested suspects involved in the murder conspiracy - Rupesh Mohol, karan Salve, shivam Kohad and Gaurav Appune. Rs 25 lakh each, an apartment, a car and a trip to dubai were promised for carrying out the murder.

Six shooters were recruited for Plan B. So far, the Crime Branch has seized five pistols and 64 live cartridges in this case. Of these, three pistols have been recovered from mumbai, one from Panvel and one from Pune. The Crime Branch suspects that one more pistol and about 40 live cartridges may still be there and work is being done to find them.
