 The central government has allowed Wi-Fi facilities to be used on flights in India. For this purpose, the central government has approved the use of Wi-Fi services on domestic and international flights traveling through indian airspace. With this, the indian aviation industry has achieved international air service standards. Generally, our cell phones do not have internet connections while traveling by air in India. In this situation, according to the notification issued by the central government, it has been informed that domestic and foreign flights will be able to get uninterrupted internet facilities while traveling in the airspace of India. This in-flight Wi-Fi facility is already in practice in various countries. Through this, airline passengers can stay in touch with the world using Wi-Fi.
In-flight Wi-Fi was introduced in the united states in 2008. American airlines was the first to provide Internet access with certain restrictions. After that, most airlines operating in the united states started offering Wi-Fi services. As early as 2010, companies such as Delta and United airlines offered the opportunity to use Wi-Fi on their planes. In 2011, Wi-Fi services were allowed on flights operating in european countries, with british Airways and Lufthansa being the first companies to offer Wi-Fi services. Later all countries across the european continent allowed Wi-Fi services.

Initially, it was offered to premium passengers and later expanded to all passengers.
