Trump’s New Immigration Plan: Blessing or Curse?

G GOWTHAM
This year, Donald Trump's successful campaign heavily emphadata-sized illegal immigration. Although some of his allegations on immigrant communities consuming their pets stoked anti-immigrant sentiment, we haven't heard a comprehensive strategy to combat the problem. This was before vivek Ramaswamy, who is anticipated to play a significant role in Trump's next government, recently gave a preview of what lies ahead. He reiterated his mission statement and asserted that trump will once again prioritize immigration.

The Republican leader who is Indian-American believes that immigration should be tightly regulated. "Consider your nation as your body. Entry is restricted to those who will benefit America. He told the journalists, "Anyone who enters without authorization should be kicked out." Trump's "Remain in Mexico" policy, which mandates that asylum claimants remain in mexico until their applications are reviewed, was another point Ramaswamy brought up. He said that anyone breaking the law or entering the country unlawfully will be removed right away.

Trump's plans to abolish birthright citizenship represent yet another significant shift in the administration. This implies that, unlike in the past, children born in the US to illegal parents would not immediately become citizens. It's a wise decision to have an Indian-American leader represent anti-immigration ideas in order to dispel the racial accusations that trump was subjected to following his comments. For immigrant populations that continue to live in dread, it doesn't provide much respite.
