 While Siruthai Siva's movie Kanguva directed by Suriya is getting trolled, an interview given by him is going viral. Suriya starrer Kanguva has opened in theaters and is receiving harsh reviews. The film received mostly negative reviews due to its screenplay and music. The music is too meaty and the screenplay lacks saltiness is said to be the main reason for the slide of the film Kanguva. While the film Kanguva is being trolled everywhere, director Siruthai Siva has said in an interview that he has 6 more stories like the film and it is becoming very viral. In that interview, he said: "I don't agree with two things in cinema. One thing I don't like is comparison. Another is that I don't like pressure. I wish for everything in life. All my legitimate desires are fulfilled. In my career, I have been taking up popular films that I like very much. It also becomes a hit.
Now I want to do big-budget films. So I have made Kanguva. If you want me to make a science fiction film tomorrow, I will do that too. According to me, a director cannot be singled out for one genre. So far I have taken a popular film and made it successful. Now I have done a period film. As a director, I am very confident that I can do all genres. I really like making films focusing on human relationships and emotions. Because it does not change over time. I love to make films in the family genre. At the same time, I always have a desire to make a film in a new genre. The story of Kanguva was in my mind. I am doing it because the situation is right. I have 5-6 scripts like Kanguva. All in different genres, very lively stories. If god blesses me, I will make it as a film next.
