Mehbooba Mufti targeted BJP over advertisement in Jharkhand!

The campaign for the second phase of assembly elections in jharkhand ended on monday (November 18). During this, the leaders of the nda and 'India' alliance's constituent parties were seen fiercely attacking each other. Meanwhile, PDP chief mehbooba mufti on monday targeted the bjp for releasing an advertisement before the elections in jharkhand and called it extremely communal and against the secular fabric of the country. This advertisement was posted on the twitter handle of the jharkhand unit of bjp, but it was removed when the election commission asked the state election unit to direct the party to remove it.

PDP chief mehbooba said in a post on social media, "BJP's campaign in jharkhand assembly elections should disturb the previous generation of Kashmiri leadership, who chose to join secular democratic india despite kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">jammu and kashmir being a Muslim majority state."

She further said, "This election was conducted with the vision of a pluralistic nation where all religions can co-exist peacefully and respectfully. This advertisement is deeply communal and contrary to the fundamental ideals and secular fabric of the nation they have chosen to be a part of. It is pure poison."

ec sought clarification from bjp regarding advertisement

The election commission of india on sunday took seriously the complaints of congress and JMM on social media posts. The election commission has also sought an explanation from the state unit of bjp for the alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct by posting the video. The first phase of polling in jharkhand was held on november 13, while the second phase is scheduled on wednesday (November 20).
