IPL Auction 2025: A mistake made by  Mallika Sagar..!?
The mega auction for the IPL 2025 season is currently underway in Saudi Arabia. As the first round of this auction has ended, a huge controversy has erupted right from the beginning. This mega auction is being conducted by a woman named mallika Sagar. She performed well in the last mini-auction, so she got a chance in the mega-auction again. In this context, the gujarat team lost extra money due to a mistake made by mallika Sagar. In the first round of the auction, the name of England's action star Jos Buttler came to the stage. At that time, the rajasthan and gujarat teams fought hard to get Jos Buttler. Both teams kept asking each other for the price. At one point, the rajasthan team withdrew from the competition by asking for 9 crores and 25 lakhs rupees. After this, punjab and gujarat competed to buy Buttler. At one point, there was fierce competition between gujarat and lucknow to get the punjab team to withdraw.
In this situation, the lucknow team asked for Jos Buttler for 15 crores and 25 lakhs rupees. At that time, instead of saying that lucknow had asked for 15 crores and 25 lakhs rupees, mallika Sagar said 15 crores and 50 lakhs. Due to this, the gujarat team asked for the next amount of 15 crores and 75 lakhs rupees and took him to the auction.
Due to mallika Sagar's mistake, the gujarat team has given 25 lakhs more rupees to Jos Buttler. When asking for 15 crores and 25 lakhs rupees, the gujarat team should have bought 17 lakhs and 50 lakhs rupees. But due to mallika Sagar's mistake, they ended up spending extra money. This has now created controversy. It is expected that the bcci will rectify this mistake later.
