Solanki family's dominance remains in Sisamau

In the by-election, bjp was looking to break into the stronghold of SP, the political chessboard was laid out. One of them was Sisamau seat of kanpur, every effort was made for all the 9 seats of UP. But all the maneuvers of bjp proved futile on the kanpur seat. Big public meetings of bjp, road shows of big stalwarts, and visits of many ministers failed in front of the mandate of the people. bjp failed to grab the Sisamau seat, which was occupied by SP and Solanki family for the last 22 years.

Sisamau seat is said to be a seat with a decisive role of Muslim voters. But this is just speculation. Because only 40 percent of this seat has Muslim voters, the remaining 60 percent are Hindu voters. Despite this, the victory of SP was beyond BJP's understanding for such a long time. bjp, by uniting Hindu voters, gave slogans like 'we will be divided if we cut' and also put up posters to achieve victory.

Many reasons for BJP's defeat in Sisamau

SP candidate's Jalabhishek in Shiv temple and then purifying the temple with Gangajal proved beneficial for SP and harmful for BJP. Because Naseem's visit to the temple and purification of the temple with Gangajal made the Dalit voters angry with BJP. Dalit community, which has been struggling with caste discrimination for a long time, started moving away from bjp after this incident. Naseem being a woman and being upset, voters also developed a soft corner for a woman candidate.

bjp candidate's selection also became a reason

The way bjp had made Sisamau seat a matter of prestige and a matter, political experts do not consider the selection of the candidate to be correct. Betting for the third time on a candidate who had lost twice in the assembly is also being considered as the reason for the defeat. Along with this, infighting within the party also became the reason for the defeat in this election. An mp and a former mla were believed to be angry with the BJP's declared candidate and its decision, and due to internal conflicts, they did not work hard in the elections.
