During his address, chief minister Yogi Adityanath discussed the indian independent history. He said, "National leader Maharana Pratap showed what should be the introduction of India's self-respect and honor." On this occasion, he also mentioned Chhatrapati shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Hindu Empire, and Maharani lakshmi Bai. Referring to a poem, cm Yogi Adityanath said, "In the first freedom struggle of 1857, when rani Lakshmibai of jhansi fought against the british for the freedom of the country, she was only 26 years old and she was victorious. The british could not defeat her."

Remembering the heroes of freedom

Encouraging the youth, cm Yogi Adityanath said, "Give me blood, I will give you freedom. Whether it was subhash chandra Bose who gave this message, or the hero of Kakori train action ram prasad Bismil, Thakur roshan Singh, Ashfaqulla Khan, Chandrashekhar azad and Rajendra Nath Lahiri who proclaimed, 'O god, may I be born a hundred times in India, but the reason for my death should always be deeds that benefit the country', Thakur roshan Singh, Ashfaqulla Khan, Chandrashekhar azad and Rajendra Nath Lahiri, all of them were revolutionary youth."

Remembering the heroes of the freedom struggle, chief minister Yogi Adityanath said, "Veer Savarkar is the first revolutionary in the world who was sentenced to two life imprisonments in a single birth. Veer Savarkar was only 28 years old at that time." He said that Guru Gobind Singh sacrificed his four 'Sahibzadas'. cm Yogi said, "Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh fought for the country and religion at a very young age. At that time, the age of the four Sahibzadas was only between 7 to 14 years." He said, "All these people gave the message of India's Vedic tradition to the whole world and said that say with pride that we are Hindus."
