Chennai Super Kings team boycotted their former team players on the second day of the IPL mega auction. While it is said that the CSK team will always be loyal to their team players and that CSK players are one family, the opposite happened. CSK team did not buy Daryl Mitchell, shardul thakur, and Ajinkya Rahane, who were in the CSK team in the 2024 IPL series. Similarly, it was expected that the CSK team would buy faf du plessis as he is currently in good form. He played in the CSK team from 2018 to 2021. CSK team did not buy him in the auction either. Du Plessis was bought for the base price of 2 crores.

However, CSK did not come forward to buy them. Why did the CSK team, which bought Ashwin for 9.75 crores, miss out on many good players on the second day of the auction? The question arises. However, the CSK team bought england all-rounder sam Curran, who was in their team many years ago, for 2.40 crores. This was a good choice.
