According to reports, the event happened in Surjanpur village, where the vendors were going door to door to sell their shawls. In a social media video that went viral, a lady claiming to be the wife of a local Sarpanch started the abuse.
Because the guys are members of the Muslim community, the woman is shown in the video threatening them and pushing the locals to boycott their company. Additionally, the mother forced them to recite phrases like "Jai Shri Ram." In the video, she can be heard asking, "Why should we purchase from Kashmiris? Do they provide us with free things?
