Jagdish Singh Patani, Disha Patani's father, has suffered a significant financial setback. According to reports, a gang of five people duped the former deputy SP of Rs 25 lakh by promising him a coveted job in a government commission. The Patanis filed a formal complaint (FIR) at the Bareilly Kotwali police station that same evening, according to police reports released on Friday. According to Patani's accusation, he transferred Rs 20 lakh to three separate bank accounts and gave Rs 5 lakh in cash in exchange for the group's promises.
But when he requested his money back after three months of no progress, the accused responded with angry conduct and threats. According to Patani, he met Diwakar Garg and acharya Jayaprakash through a personal acquaintance, Shivendra Pratap Singh.
Allegedly, the suspects asserted that they had powerful political ties and pledged to get Patani a high-level job, such chairman or vice-chairman of a government committee. They further persuaded Patani of their power by introducing an accomplice named Himanshu who pretended to be a "officer on special duty" in order to provide legitimacy to their plan.
The complaint against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, acharya Jayaprakash of Juna Akhara, Preeti Garg, and an unnamed person was validated by D.K. Sharma, the officer in charge at Kotwali police station. Among the accusations include extortion, criminal intimidation, and cheating. Sharma said, "Efforts are underway to ensure strict action and apprehend the accused." Regarding his career, Patani most recently starred with Suriya in the tamil epic fantasy movie Kanguva. The adversary is portrayed by bobby Deol. On its first day of release, the masterpiece, which hit theaters on november 14, brought in an astounding Rs 58 crore globally.
