Will Pooja Hegde Break Her Flop Streak?

Originally scheduled for release on february 14 of next year, shahid kapoor and pooja Hegde's action-thriller deva will instead open in theaters on january 31, 2025, the producers said Wednesday.

“Sit tight, ‘cause the wait just got shorter! deva is coming your way sooner than you think—January 31st, 2025! 🚨The hype is real, the energy is through the roof, and we’re beyond excited to bring you this action-packed thriller earlier than expected! 💥Mark your calendars and get ready for a heart-pumping experience that you won’t forget,” makers Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films wrote alongside the film's poster on Instagram.
Hegde will play a journalist in the film, while shahid will play a smart but rebellious police officer. The official summary of deva on IMDb states that the movie is "about a brilliant yet rebellious police officer who discovers a web of deceit and betrayal while investigating a high-profile case." The film, which was directed by Rosshan Andrews of Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni, also has important parts for Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait, and Pravesh Rana. shahid recently appeared with kriti sanon in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. pooja hegde was most recently featured with salman khan in the action movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which came out in 2023.
