Rajasthan - Bride's Obscene Video Sent to In-Laws and Wedding Called Off

After an explicit video of the bride was sent to the groom's family in Rajasthan, the wedding was called off. After receiving a video that showed the bride in a compromising position, the groom's father called off the wedding, according to an india Herald story.
 
On november 10, the wedding was supposed to happen in Sikar, Rajasthan. But after seeing the film, the groom's family questioned the bride's morals and chose not to forward with the match.
Bride claims blackmail
The bride admitted to being raped and blackmailed by a man she met in college when her grandfather questioned her.
 
The bride said that a guy called Zeeshan had recorded her without her permission and had raped and blackmailed her, according to the india Herald article. The bride, who was originally from Churu, had met the man while he was studying in Surat.
 
After they met, Zeeshan started following her, she revealed. He reportedly mistreated her on several occasions and took pictures of her without getting her permission.
 
When her marriage was arranged for someone else, the man appeared to be furious and threatened to distribute her pornographic tapes. Following the bride's decision to proceed with the wedding, Zeeshan sent the graphic film to her in-laws as promised. After seeing the footage, the groom's family decided to call off the wedding.
 
Churu police transferred the case to surat and filed a zero-number FIR.
