After RRR, Jr. ntr had a secure box office venture with Devara. The movie proved to be a respectable box office earner, which was just what ntr needed to maintain its position in the post-RRR market. But when it comes to the hindi market, ntr has had some shakiness. During the complete run, Devara had collected almost Rs 65 crore nett. Even while this could be a respectable figure, ntr would have anticipated more following RRR.
In such scenario, Tarak's decision to start war 2 after Devara may be viewed as a well-considered one. war 2, a straight hindi movie directed by the talented Ayan Mukerjee and starring Hrithik Roshan, would greatly boost NTR's standing in the hindi belt.
