Irfan, Saleem and 3 Other Booked For Abusing, Assaulting Female Cop in UP
About five people were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police on Sunday, december 1st, for beating a female policeman in the state's Moradabad area. Two of them have been named as Irfan and Saleem. The incident is thought to have occurred in the civil lines area behind the former RTO office while the female constable was making her way home while dressed in civic clothing.
One of the defendants rode up on the bike and pulled up beside the victim. According to the accounts, he begged the woman to start his bike after informing her that it had stopped. However, the accused started hitting and mistreating her before she could react. social media users are sharing the incident's footage.
As shown in the video, the accused initially struck the victim before pulling her in the direction of the gutter. In addition, he attempted to touch her improperly and smacked her. When they saw this, several other people arrived to help the victim, but the accused kept hitting her.
After arriving at the Civil Lines police Station, the woman lodged a police complaint against the defendant. According to the complaint, the female policeman was physically assaulted and harassed by around five or six people. Irfan and Salim have been named as two of the suspects.
In the meantime, Moradabad police acknowledged the incident and disclosed that a police report had been made.
“The woman constable filed a complaint in this case stating that she was abused and assaulted by around 5-6 persons. She also said that she was sexually assaulted. FIR in this case has been filed. Investigations are underway,” one of the officers added.
