Cash Carrying Rules for Flights
For Domestic Flights

• The reserve bank of india (RBI) permits carrying up to ₹2 lakh in cash while flying within India.
•  Carrying more than this amount could attract scrutiny from authorities. Ensure you have proper documentation if carrying large sums.
For international Flights

•  You can carry foreign currency up to $3000 in cash if traveling abroad (except to nepal and Bhutan).
•  For amounts exceeding $3000, you must use travel checks or store value cards as per international travel norms.
Baggage Weight Limits

•  Hand Baggage: Allowed weight ranges between 7 to 14 kg depending on the airline.
•  Checked-in Baggage: Typically, the weight limit is 20 to 30 kg for domestic and international flights.
•  Always confirm baggage weight limits on your airline's official website.
Can You Carry Alcohol on Flights?
On domestic flights, you are permitted to check in for up to five liters of alcohol. According to airline regulations, make sure the alcohol concentration is within the allowed limit.
Duty-free liquor stores are also available for purchase at several airports.
