A guy in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, was assassinated four days after marrying a girl who adored her cousin, turning his marital pleasure into death, according to authorities on Saturday.
Ahmedabad native Bhavik married Gandhinagar native Payal before being abducted and murdered by three guys. According to authorities, during the preliminary inquiry, it was discovered that Payal and her cousin Kalpesh, with whom she had a romantic relationship before marriage, had conspired to kill her husband.
After that, Payal's family went to the police and told them what had happened. When the authorities learned that Bhavik had been abducted only four days after his wedding, they became suspicious. After being questioned, Payal gave in to the pressure from the police and admitted to planning Bhavik's abduction and killing.
Police located the three defendants, detained them, and questioned them based on the information that Payal gave. Kalpesh said to the police that he and two other guys had abducted Bhavik and killed him by strangulation in his SUV. His body was dumped in the Narmada canal, which lies close by.
According to the police, she contacted Bhavik to find out his precise whereabouts as he was in route to Payal's parents' house. When she realized that, she told Kalpesh where he was.
She claimed that while she was in love with Kalpesh, she chose to divorce her spouse after her parents forced her to wed Bhavik. The three primary suspects have been apprehended, and Payal has been placed under arrest.
Under the appropriate provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), police have filed a case for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and kidnapping, and they are now conducting more investigation.
