Uddhav Thackeray gave advice to Congress on Veer Savarkar?

Shiv Sena UBT Chief uddhav thackeray demanded Bharat Ratna for Veer Savarkar and asked why bjp is not giving him Bharat Ratna. uddhav said that when devendra fadnavis became cm for the first time, he had also written a letter to PM Modi regarding this demand, still Veer Savarkar is not being given Bharat Ratna, so bjp has no right to speak on Veer Savarkar. uddhav also said that congress should stop saying Savarkar-Savarkar.

Winter Speaker of maharashtra Assembly uddhav thackeray reached nagpur on wednesday (18 December). In a press conference in nagpur, uddhav thackeray said, "I want to tell both congress and bjp that congress should stop saying Savarkar-Savarkar and bjp should stop saying Nehru-Nehru. Instead of talking about what happened in the past, we should focus on what we can do in the future.''

uddhav thackeray further said, ''Whatever both of them did in their respective times, they did it right in their place. Therefore, PM narendra modi should also not keep harping on Nehru's name now. Regarding Veer Savarkar, I say why should he not be given Bharat Ratna? He should be given. When devendra fadnavis was the chief minister, he had written many letters to PM Modi, even today he is the cm, when his demand is not being considered, then he has no right to speak on Veer Savarkar.''

The issue of Veer Savarkar was raised once again in the Lok Sabha. rahul Gandhi had commented on Veer Savarkar during the debate on the Constitution in Parliament. On which Eknath Shinde's son Shrikant Shinde had cited Indira Gandhi's letter while amit shah had strongly retaliated to rahul Gandhi's comment. bjp had also asked uddhav thackeray about his stand.
