digital payments is not unusual. The issue of

history of UPI from
april 2016 to
january 1, 2025, was recorded on
december 31, 2024. This momentum continued on
january 1 as well. On the first day of this year, transactions worth Rs. 81,015.97 crore were made. That is, the value of
digital payments made through UPI across the country in two days was Rs. 1.74 lakh crore.
It was concluded that an average of 74,990 crore worth of transactions were made per day in the month of
december last year. The number of UPI transactions jumped by 8 percent last month. While the total transactions in
december were 1,673 crore, in
november this number was 1548 crore. The value of transactions (in rupees) reached Rs. 23.25 lakh crore in the month of
december alone. It is noteworthy that in
november last year, it was Rs. 21.55 lakh crore.
