Six people died in a stampede at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh

Reportedly the andhra pradesh government announced ex-gratia for the families of those who lost their lives in the stampede that occurred in Tirupati. andhra pradesh Revenue minister Anagani Satyaprasad stated that a compensation of ₹25 lakh will be provided to each family. Ministers Anagani Satyaprasad, Anitha, Parthasarathy, and anam ramanarayana reddy visited the families of the deceased at the Ruia Hospital in Tirupati. They also visited the injured at the SVIMS hospital.


Meanwhile andhra pradesh Home minister Anitha stated that an inquiry is underway to determine whether the stampede in tirupati was an accident or a conspiracy. The responsibility for the mishap will be determined through CCTV footage, the minister said, assuring stringent action against those found guilty.


Minister anam ramanarayana reddy described the occurrence of this incident during the auspicious time of Vaikunta Ekadashi as unfortunate. He pointed out that the cause of the stampede whether it was due to hasty actions or a lack of coordination will be revealed through the inquiry. He also stated that the bodies of the deceased would be sent to their respective native places and urged district collectors to provide necessary assistance for the last rites. andhra pradesh Revenue minister Anagani Satyaprasad has issued clear instructions to the collectors in this regard.
