The first-day collection of Vidaamuyarchi directed by Magizh Thirumeni and starring ajith kumar, has been released. Vidaamuyarchi is the first time that actor ajith kumar and director Magizh Thirumeni have worked together. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film stars trisha opposite actor Ajith. The film, which has a huge star cast including Action king Arjun, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, and yogi Babu, has music composed by Rockstar Anirudh. Om Prakash has worked as the cinematographer of the film. The last film starring actor ajith was Thunivu. About 2 years after the release of that film, the film Vidaamuyarchi hit the screens on february 6. It is a remake of the hollywood film Breakdown. The film was shot entirely in Azerbaijan. The film was stylishly made in hollywood style. While the film was released worldwide yesterday, it was released on more than 1000 screens in tamil Nadu alone.
While early morning scenes were screened in other states, the first show was screened in tamil Nadu at 9 am. Fans were excited to see ajith on screen after 2 years and danced and sang in the theater. But the result of the film was not as expected by the fans. Vidaamuyarchi has been released as an action film without any of the mass opening scenes that the fans expected. The film, which data-faced critical criticism, was expected to be a hit at the box office, but its first-day collection has come as a shock to the team who were expecting it to be a hit at the box office. Accordingly, the film collected Rs. 22 crores on the first day in india alone. It has collected Rs. 21.5 crores in tamil Nadu. Even the last film Thunivu, starring ajith, collected Rs. 23 crores on the first day. Vidaamuyarchi could not even match that collection.


Apart from that, the film is said to have collected Rs. 30 to Rs. 35 crores worldwide. The reason for the low first-day collection of Vidaamuyarchi is that the film was not released on a holiday. Similarly, the film was not promoted extensively. Its effects have also been reflected in the collection. In an environment where films starring stars like Vijay and Rajini are earning a whopping Rs. 100 crores on the first day, Ajith's film has not collected even Rs. 50 crores, which has disappointed his fans.
