Usually, people are interested in buying gold. But recently, reserve banks of the world have been buying and accumulating gold. The reason for this is that gold has become a very valuable asset. Central banks in each country buy tons of gold and continuously increase their gold reserves. Krishnan Gopal, senior analyst at the World gold Council, said: The People's bank of china increased its gold reserves by 5 tons in February. Following this, the bank increased its gold reserves by 10 tons in the first two months of 2025. The National bank of poland bought 29 tons of gold last month. This is the largest monthly purchase by the bank since june 2019. Following this, poland overtook china to become the world's largest gold buyer. As of now, Poland's National bank has 480 tonnes of gold reserves.
