For allegedly sexually abusing female students, a Uttar Pradesh professor was suspended. The head of the geography department at Seth Phool Chand Bagla PG college in hathras was Rajnish, the accused professor. After an anonymous allegation claimed that he was involved in the sexual exploitation of female students, a formal complaint was filed against him on march 13.
Sections 64(2) (rape), 68 (sexual contact by an authority figure), and 75 (attack or criminal force to woman with intent to affront her modesty) are the charges against the professor. The police are currently looking into the situation and attempting to find the complainant, who has chosen to remain anonymous.
The complainant claimed that the professor would take advantage of female students, engage in lewd behavior with them, and even record films of them. The complainant said that while she had complained about this, nothing had been done about it.
Following the filing of the FIR, pradeep Kumar Bagla, the college secretary, suspended the lecturer. The incident has generated outrage, and the complainant is calling on authorities to punish the professor severely and provide justice for the impacted pupils.
"(Narendra) Modi government supports 'Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' but even after that such people are committing cruelty to daughters. I am so troubled by this cruel person that sometimes I think of committing suicide," the complainant said in the letter to the Women's Commission and other senior officials.
"Please save the girl students... Due to public shame, no female student will say anything. Therefore, please take strict action against this monster and provide justice to many girls like me," she further said.
