PM Modi said that 'India and sri lanka have centuries-old spiritual and intimacy-filled relations. I am happy to inform you that the relics of Lord buddha found in Aravalli, Gujarat in 1960 are being sent to sri lanka for darshan. india will cooperate in the renovation of the Thirukoneswaram temple in Trincomalee. We also discussed issues related to the livelihood of fishermen. We agreed that we should move forward with humanitarian aid in this matter. We also emphadata-sized the immediate release of fishermen and sending back their boats. The relationship between india and Sri Lanka is based on mutual trust and goodwill.
