According to authorities, a 24-year-old lady her away on wednesday after plummeting from a roller coaster swing at an amusement park in Delhi.
Police say that on wednesday afternoon, Priyanka, a Chanakyapuri sales manager, was with her future husband, Nikhil, at Fun and Food village near the Kapashera data-border. Before heading to the facility's amusement park area, the pair had been having fun on the water attractions.
"During the roller-coaster ride, when the swing reached its peak, the stand broke, and priyanka fell straight down," according to a police spokesperson.
Police say that on wednesday afternoon, Priyanka, a Chanakyapuri sales manager, was with her future husband, Nikhil, at Fun and Food village near the Kapashera data-border. Before heading to the facility's amusement park area, the pair had been having fun on the water attractions.

After being transported to a neighboring hospital with severe injuries, priyanka was declared dead. Nikhil then notified the police and Priyanka's relatives.
Based on Nikhil's statement, police opened an investigation and filed a case. A post-mortem study was performed before Priyanka's body was given to her relatives.
Mohit, Priyanka's brother, accused the water park of being careless. He said his sister was admitted to the hospital too late and that there were insufficient safety precautions.
"After priyanka fell, she was taken to the hospital late, due to which she lost her life," Mohit stated. In addition, he said that following the event, the roller coaster and a portion of the park were closed for repairs.

According to police, the inquiry is still going on. A statement regarding the accident has not yet been released by the entertainment park.
