The New York Times has once again come under controversy over the reporting of the painful terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 innocent tourists were killed in this attack, after which the indian government and security experts clearly termed it a terrorist attack, but the New York Times in its report called it an “attack by militants”, with which the Foreign Affairs Committee of the lower house of the US congress disagreed.
The committee publicly shared a picture on the social media platform ‘X’, in which the word “militant” was crossed out and “terrorist” was written in its place. The leader of the committee wrote, “New York Times, we have fixed it for you. It was a terrorist attack.
