Why Avengers Doomsday Doesn't Have A Finalized Script?
But according to new sources, there's a very unique reason why the script hasn't been approved. The reason for this is that Marvel Studios hasn't signed every actor that wants to be in the movie yet.
Chris Evans, whose Marvel contract with Avengers: Endgame expired, is another. The fact that Robert Downey Jr.'s enormous Marvel salaries are well known definitely doesn't help either, since agents for some of the more well-known celebrities are prone to want to up their client's fee.
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Wolverine, as well as the three live-action Spider-Men—Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and tom Holland—were all conspicuous omissions.
Possibly some names weren't omitted to preserve confidentiality because Marvel is unsure if they will be able to contract their individual actors, or possibly Kevin Feige recently stated that the entire Endgame cast wasn't announced during the livestream.
Marvel Studios recently revealed the official cast for Avengers: Doomsday, which consists of a mix of the new Fantastic Four from the MCU, returning Fox X-Men characters, and well-known MCU heroes.
