IPL 2025 suspended..!? Decision to suspend due to players' safety.?

A bcci official has said that the 2025 IPL has been temporarily suspended, the press Trust of india (PTI) news agency has reported. An official announcement is expected to be made soon. It is said that the IPL administration has asked the players participating in the IPL series about continuing the matches, and most of the players have expressed their concerns about playing the matches at present. Following this, it is said that the bcci has decided to temporarily suspend the IPL series. An official announcement is expected to be made soon. 58 matches have been played in the 2025 IPL series so far. A total of 74 matches are to be held, including the playoffs and the final. The remaining 16 matches are planned to be postponed without specifying a date.
The last match between punjab Kings and delhi Capitals was stopped halfway due to security precautions after 10.1 overs were bowled. Players, umpires, and fans were all evacuated from the stadium. Following this, it was reported that the IPL administration and bcci held a meeting regarding holding the IPL series amidst war tensions. It was also reported that foreign players expressed their desire to go to their countries and pressured them. Also, criticism arose that there is a need for entertainment like the IPL when the country is in a war situation. It is in this situation that the bcci has decided to stop the IPL series voluntarily. Currently, the delhi Capitals and punjab Kings players have left for delhi by train. The royal challengers Bangalore team is in Lucknow. Today, they were supposed to play against the lucknow Super Giants. However, due to the attacks that took place yesterday, the Bangalore team players are said to have been saying that they should leave lucknow immediately.
It is said that the Bangalore team players are currently leaving Lucknow. It seems that the foreign players who are participating in the ongoing IPL series will be safely sent back to the countries.
