It is said that the IPL administration has asked the players participating in the IPL series about continuing the matches, and most of the players have expressed their concerns about playing the matches at present. Following this, it is said that the
bcci has decided to temporarily suspend the IPL series. An official announcement is expected to be made soon. 58 matches have been played in the 2025 IPL series so far. A total of 74 matches are to be held, including the playoffs and the final. The remaining 16 matches are planned to be postponed without specifying a date.
