Actress
deepika padukone recently spoke at an
event in Stockholm about sticking to her principles and maintaining a positive attitude in the face of life's challenges. At the same
event on
tuesday night, the 39-year-old looked stunning in a crimson garment that looked like fake fur. Her remarks follow a series of rumors that she was leaving the film "Spirit," directed by Sandeep
reddy Vanga.
"I think what keeps me balanced is just being truthful, being authentic. And whenever I am faced with, say, complicated situations or difficult situations, to be able to listen to my inner voice and just make decisions, stand by decisions that really give me peace. That is when I feel most in equilibrium," she told Vogue Arabia at the event.
The actor has not responded to Vanga's post, in which he allegedly called her a "angry cat scratching a pole," or issued a statement. On her official
instagram account, Padukone posted numerous photos of herself wearing the same
red dress. 'Hi from Stockholm' was all she wrote in the post's caption.
In the meantime, Padukone was just named an ambassador for the luxury jewelry company Cartier. She was present at the EN EQULIBRE Cartier High Jewellery
event in Stockholm.
'King', in which she is collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, also stars
rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Suhana Khan, Anil Kapoor,
abhishek Bachchan, Abhay Verma, Arshad Warsi, and Jaideep Ahlawat. Directed by
siddharth Anand, the
movie represents SRK's daughter Suhana's big
bollywood debut.
