The recent grand trailer release for Housefull 5 garnered
international attention. With a huge ensemble of celebrities like Akshay Kumar,
abhishek Bacchan, Jacqueline Fernandez,
nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Riteish Deshmukh, and more, the
movie is making headlines. In addition, the
movie features comedic actors that previously appeared in the franchise, such as
johnny Lever and Chunky Panday.
But one particular act at the trailer launch didn't sit well with internet users, and
social media has been buzzing about it ever since. At the trailer debut, reporters questioned the majority of the actors, but they didn't ask
johnny Lever any questions.
For more than thirty years, the legendary actor has been the mainstay of
bollywood comedy. But instead there was a disturbing quiet. The renowned
comedian sat unseen, hardly acknowledged in the
media flurry as reporters eagerly questioned the younger stars. This tacit contempt once more demonstrates the complete ignorance of
media professionals, who frequently prioritize fads above classic talent.
Nana Patekar's voiceover introduces the setting of the film in the first scene of the trailer. On a lavish yacht, a billionaire is throwing a lavish
party to commemorate his 100th birthday. The billionaire intends to make his will known during the party; already, Housefull 5 looks to be a reference to the
daniel craig film Knives Out and the Adam Sandler-Jennifer Aniston film
murder Mystery. The three heroes are made suspects after the billionaire passes away. The problem is that they can't recall anything about their life because someone put something in their drinks. Sanjay Dutt and
jackie shroff are flown in to help unravel the mystery.
