India has received the second GE-404 engine from America for the LCA Mark 1A fighter aircraft program. Special types of fighter jets will be made from this.

India has received good news from America. Jet engine manufacturing company GE has handed over its second engine, GE-4, to India. This engine will be used in light fighter aircraft. It can be installed in the LCA ( Light Combat Aircraft) tejas Mark-1A. Another important thing is that Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is expected to get a total of 12 such engines in this financial year.


According to the  report, india has received the second GE-404 engine. TheIndian Air Force has ordered 83 LCA Mark-1A fighter planes. After the approval of the Defense Ministry, the proposal to buy 97 more such aircraft is also in the final stage.This will further increase the strength of the indian Air Force. This can become a tension-increasing news for neighboring country, Pakistan.


India had signed an agreement with General Electric

According to a report, Defense Secretary Rajesh Singh said that the supply of GE ( General Electric) F404-IN20 engines for India's tejas Mark-1A fighter aircraft has started again. GE can send two engines every month from march 2026. India had signed an agreement of $ 761 million with General Electric. Under this, engines are to be purchased for fighter aircraft.

The indian Air Force has many fighter planes

The indian Air Force has many fighter aircraft, which are designed for any kind ofattack. Each aircraft has different capabilities. This list includes Sukhoi Su-30 MKI, Rafale, Tejas, MiG-29, Mirage 2000, Jaguar, and MiG-21.
