Two Passengers tried to enter the cockpit of a SpiceJet flight..!?
Two passengers tried to enter the cockpit of a SpiceJet flight from delhi to mumbai as the air conditioner was not working. This created a tense situation. SpiceJet's SG 9282 flight from delhi to mumbai was scheduled to depart at 12.30 pm yesterday (July 14). However, it departed at 7.21 pm and reached mumbai only at 9.05 pm. The reason for the 7-hour delay of this flight was suspense. Later the crew gave a reply for their delay. Now the airline has informed the reason. In this regard, SpiceJet has said in a statement:
Two passengers who were involved in a disturbance on a SpiceJet flight from delhi to mumbai were deboarded. While the flight was going down the runway at the airport, the two passengers tried to enter the cockpit which created a tense situation. Despite requests from the captain, flight attendants, and fellow passengers, the two refused to return to their seats. Considering the safety of the passengers, the plane was taken back to the parking lot.
Both were handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force guards. The flight then departed late. This was stated in the statement.
