The Fight for State Rights Will Continue: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin Reaffirms Commitment

Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin has once again asserted that the state government will persist in its struggle for state rights, emphasizing that safeguarding federal principles is essential for the integrity of indian democracy. Speaking with firm resolve, the chief minister stated that tamil Nadu’s voice will not be silenced when it comes to defending the powers granted to states under the Constitution.

Stalin highlighted that the ongoing challenges between the State and the Union—particularly over administrative delays, financial allocations, and the functioning of centrally-appointed authorities—have strengthened the need for a more robust and equitable federal system. He argued that any disruption in the functioning of an elected state government ultimately affects the people and weakens the democratic framework.

Reaffirming his government’s stance, the chief minister declared that tamil Nadu will continue to seek constitutional clarity, administrative autonomy, and timely cooperation from central institutions. He reiterated that the movement for state rights is not directed against any individual or political party but is a larger battle to uphold democratic values and ensure that states can function effectively without undue interference.

Stalin concluded by saying that the struggle for state autonomy, respect for constitutional boundaries, and protection of people’s mandate will persist until meaningful reforms and cooperative federalism are fully realized.
