Kanimozhi, Member of parliament and Chairperson of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) election Manifesto Committee, has stated that the party’s election manifesto will be prepared with a strong focus on the overall development of tamil Nadu. She made these remarks while speaking to the media.Kanimozhi said that the manifesto would reflect the aspirations of the people of the state and build upon the achievements of the DMK-led government. She emphadata-sized that development would be viewed holistically, encompassing economic growth, social justice, welfare schemes, and infrastructure expansion.The DMK leader explained that the manifesto preparation committee is actively engaging in consultations with party functionaries, subject experts, and representatives from various sections of society. Public feedback and grassroots-level suggestions, she noted, are being carefully considered to ensure that the manifesto remains people-centric and practical.Highlighting key focus areas, kanimozhi said the manifesto would give importance to education, healthcare, employment generation, women’s empowerment, youth welfare, and strengthening federal rights. She added that the document would outline a clear roadmap for sustainable development while ensuring inclusive growth.Reiterating the party’s ideological foundation, kanimozhi said the manifesto would be rooted in the principles of the Dravidian movement and would aim to carry forward progressive governance in tamil Nadu.
