Chief Minister M.K. Stalin Distributes Pongal Gifts to 1,300 Sanitation Workers in Chennai
Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin personally distributed Pongal gifts to 1,300 sanitation workers at a festive event held yesterday at the Dhanbasko Polytechnic college campus in Pulianthoppu, Chennai. During the celebration, the chief minister also served food to the workers, acknowledging their tireless efforts in keeping the city clean and ensuring public health.The event was attended by several dignitaries, including P.K. Sekar Babu, minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, R. Priya, Mayor of Greater chennai Corporation, Dr. Kalanidhi Veerasamy, Member of Parliament, and MLAs Thayagam Kavi, Joseph Samuel, and Vetri Elangovan. Other officials present included J. Kumaraguruparan, Commissioner of Greater chennai Corporation, Koushik, Central Division Commissioner, as well as senior government officials, regional officers, and members of local committees.Chief minister stalin praised the sanitation workers for their commitment and hard work, noting that their contributions are essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in urban areas.
