Chennai: On the occasion of Thiruvalluvar Day, tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin presented the prestigious Thiruvalluvar Award along with various tamil Nadu government awards at a special ceremony held in Chennai. The event was organized to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to tamil literature, culture, social service, and public welfare.

Speaking at the ceremony, the chief minister paid rich tributes to the great tamil philosopher and poet Thiruvalluvar, stating that his immortal work, the Thirukkural, continues to guide humanity with its universal values of virtue, justice, and compassion. He emphadata-sized that Thiruvalluvar’s teachings remain relevant in contemporary society and serve as a moral foundation for governance and social harmony.

M.K. stalin said the Thiruvalluvar Award is a recognition of those who uphold and propagate the ideals expressed in the Thirukkural. He congratulated the award recipients and appreciated their dedication to promoting tamil language, culture, and ethical values. The chief minister also highlighted the tamil Nadu government’s commitment to preserving and promoting classical tamil heritage.

Several distinguished personalities from various fields received awards during the function, including scholars, writers, artists, and social activists. Their contributions were acknowledged as valuable services to society and the tamil community at large.
