The Uttar Pradesh education service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has released the new syllabus and exam pattern for the UPTET 2026 — the state teacher eligibility test for aspiring primary and junior‑level teachers in Uttar Pradesh.

✔ The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with 150 questions worth 150 marks total.
✔ Each correct answer carries 1 mark.

Depending on the paper you opt for:

🔹 Primary Level (Paper I) – Focuses on concepts relevant to teaching Classes 1–5.
🔹 Junior/Upper Primary Level (Paper II) – For teaching Classes 6–8.
Both papers cover core teaching subjects like:

📣 Extra: UP Super TET Syllabus Also Released

Alongside UPTET, the UP Super TET (Assistant Teacher Recruitment) syllabus has also been published. This is for recruitment of assistant teachers and follows a similar structure focusing on language, general knowledge, pedagogy, and subject‑specific questions in both hindi and English.
