Tamil Nadu Is a Safe Destination for Tourists, Says Chief Minister M.K. Stalin

Tamil Nadu is a safe and welcoming destination for tourists from across the world, chief minister M.K. stalin said while addressing the Global Tourism Summit in chennai today.

Speaking at the summit, the chief minister described travel as a “classroom without textbooks,” highlighting the role of tourism in expanding knowledge, cultural understanding, and global harmony. He said tourism not only provides recreation but also serves as a powerful medium for learning, personal growth, and mutual respect among people of different regions and cultures.

Chief minister M.K. stalin emphadata-sized that the tamil Nadu government has taken several initiatives to ensure the safety and security of tourists visiting the state. He noted that law and order, infrastructure development, and tourist-friendly policies have been strengthened to provide a comfortable and secure travel experience.

He further stated that tamil Nadu is endowed with diverse tourism attractions, including ancient temples, UNESCO World heritage monuments, hill stations, beaches, wildlife sanctuaries, and vibrant cultural traditions. The state’s commitment to preserving heritage while promoting modern tourism facilities has helped attract both domestic and international visitors.

The chief minister also reiterated the government’s focus on sustainable tourism development, ensuring that tourism growth benefits local communities while protecting the environment and cultural heritage.

Senior government officials, tourism industry representatives, and delegates from various countries participated in the Global Tourism Summit.
