Chief minister M.K. stalin stated that tamil Nadu continues to be governed by the ideals and principles of former chief minister C.N. Annadurai, fondly known as
Perarignar Anna. He made this remark while paying tribute on the occasion of Anna’s 57th death anniversary, which is being observed today across the state.Recalling Annadurai’s immense contribution to tamil society and politics, the chief minister said that Anna’s vision of social justice, rationalism, self-respect, and equality remains the guiding force of the Dravidian movement and the present DMK government. He emphadata-sized that the policies and welfare schemes implemented by the current administration are rooted in Anna’s progressive thoughts.M.K. stalin highlighted that Annadurai worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the marginalized and championed the rights of the tamil language and culture. He added that Anna’s leadership laid the foundation for a governance model that prioritizes people’s welfare, social harmony, and inclusive development.On this solemn occasion, leaders and cadres of the DMK, along with the public, paid floral tributes to Annadurai’s statues and portraits across tamil Nadu. Special events were organized to remember his legacy and reaffirm commitment to his ideals.The chief minister concluded by saying that as long as Anna’s principles guide the administration, tamil Nadu will continue to progress on the path of social justice and equality.
