Chief Minister M.K. Stalin Inaugurates Completed Projects Worth ₹100.85 Crore Under Tamil Nadu Milk Producers’ Cooperative Federation
Chennai: tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin today (February 5, 2026) inaugurated completed project works worth ₹100.85 crore implemented by the Tamil Nadu Milk Producers’ Cooperative Federation (Aavin). The inauguration took place at the State secretariat in Chennai.The projects were executed under the Dairy Development Department with the objective of strengthening milk procurement, processing, storage, and distribution infrastructure across the state. These initiatives are expected to benefit milk producers, cooperative societies, and consumers by improving efficiency and ensuring better quality dairy products.Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister highlighted the importance of the cooperative dairy sector in supporting rural livelihoods and enhancing farmers’ income. He stated that the state government is committed to modernizing dairy infrastructure and providing necessary support to milk producers through various welfare-oriented and development-driven schemes.The inaugurated projects include upgraded milk chilling centres, processing units, storage facilities, and other essential infrastructure improvements aimed at increasing production capacity and reducing operational losses. Senior officials from the Dairy Development Department and Aavin were present during the event.The chief minister reiterated that the tamil Nadu government would continue to invest in the dairy sector to strengthen the cooperative network, ensure fair prices for milk producers, and meet the growing demand for quality milk and milk products across the state.
