Thirumavalavan Welcomes ₹5,000 Credit and Proposed Increase in Women’s Entitlement Amount

Chennai: Thol. Thirumavalavan has welcomed the recent credit of ₹5,000 to women beneficiaries and expressed strong support for the Chief Minister’s announcement to increase the monthly entitlement amount to ₹2,000 in the future.

The statement comes in the wake of financial assistance being credited to women under the state’s flagship welfare initiative, bringing relief and happiness to lakhs of beneficiaries.

Appreciation for Immediate Financial Support

Thirumavalavan appreciated the tamil Nadu government’s move to credit ₹5,000 directly into the bank accounts of women beneficiaries. He noted that the assistance would provide crucial support to economically vulnerable families and help women manage essential household expenses.

According to him, such welfare measures strengthen the social safety net and contribute to improving the living standards of marginalized communities.

Support for Increasing Monthly Entitlement to 2,000

Welcoming the announcement made by M. K. stalin regarding the future enhancement of the monthly entitlement amount to ₹2,000, Thirumavalavan stated that the decision reflects the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment.

He emphadata-sized that increasing the financial assistance would further ease the burden on women heads of families and enhance their economic independence.
