Bhopal Schoolgirl Groomed, Raped in Cars, Blackmailed with Video – And Forced to Convert To Islam

SIBY JEYYA
She was just a bright Class 11 student at one of Bhopal's top schools – innocent, trusting, navigating the tricky teenage years. What started as a casual introduction through a friend quickly spiraled into a calculated nightmare. Ausaf ali Khan groomed her, lured her out, and then – in a premeditated attack – raped her in a car in a secluded spot.

His gym-owner friend, Maaz Khan, hid in the shadows, secretly filming everything. That video became their weapon: blackmail for money, more assaults, and even pressure to convert to Islam. This isn't some distant horror story – it's happening right now in our cities, and it's a brutal wake-up call.

How the Predators Operated

The Grooming Begins Innocently Enough

It all started with a mutual friend. Ausaf ali Khan, smooth and persuasive, built trust fast. Chats turned into hangouts, and before long, he convinced the minor to go for a "drive." That's when the mask slipped – he took her to a dark, isolated area in Khanugaon and raped her inside the car. police say it was planned from the start.

The Secret Filming That Turned Into a Weapon

While the assault happened, Maaz Khan – the so-called "friend" who owns a gym – crouched outside and recorded the whole thing on video. This wasn't random; it was deliberate. They now had leverage to control her life.

Blackmail, Extortion, and Repeated Assaults

The demands came thick and fast: Pay ₹1 lakh or the video goes viral. Terrified, the girl scraped together ₹40,000. But it didn't stop there – they raped her again and again, in four different cars, including a Thar SUV. police seized all the vehicles as evidence.

The Sick Pressure to Convert

It wasn't just about money or sex. They forced her to recite the kalma, offer namaz, and convert to Islam. When she resisted and finally blocked them, Ausaf sent the video to one of her friends to scare her back into submission. This is coercion on every level.

The Breaking Point and police Action

The trauma became too much. She confided in her family, who – with support from Hindu organizations – filed a complaint. Both monsters were arrested: Ausaf on february 3, Maaz later. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is now digging deeper – checking if other girls were targeted the same way.

Echoes of Ajmer: Same Playbook, New Victims

This feels eerily like the 1992 Ajmer scandal – grooming, filming, blackmail, repeated rape of minors. Only the city has changed. The methods? Identical. The intent? Just as vicious.

Parents, listen up: Your kids might seem mature, handling phones and social circles like pros. But emotionally, adolescence is a minefield – full of curiosity, the hunger for validation, and vulnerability that predators like these exploit without mercy. Talk to them. Monitor without smothering. Teach them about grooming tactics. Because one "harmless" friendship can shatter a life forever. This case isn't just another headline – it's a grim reminder that evil hides in plain sight. Stay vigilant. Protect your children. They need you more than they realize.
