The chief minister of tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin, stated that educating a woman has the power to uplift five generations of a family. He made this remark while addressing a gathering today (23.02.2026) at Arulmigu Kapaleeswarar Arts and Science College in Kolathur, Chennai.

Emphasis on Women’s Education

Speaking at the event, the chief minister underscored the transformative impact of women’s education on society. He noted that when a woman receives quality education, it not only empowers her individually but also strengthens her family, community, and future generations.

He reiterated the state government’s strong commitment to promoting higher education, particularly for women, through scholarships, infrastructure development, and welfare schemes aimed at improving access and opportunities.
